Today we remember the life of a very special man; Mr Ted Price, who peacefully left this world on 23rd August after a courageous fight. Ted will be sadly missed by all of us here at PGT LLP, and by all that had the pleasure to have known him. We send our thoughts out to his family and friends at this difficult time, and say not goodbye, but see you later Ted.

PGT for Billy Twelvetrees….once again!
We are extremely proud to announce that PGT are once again the official sponsors of Gloucester’s fantastic rugby union talent Billy Twelvetrees!
Twelvetrees has had a remarkable year playing with Gloucester, and exactly a year after joining Stuart Lancaster handed him his first full International cap for England's Calcutta Cup clash with Scotland at Twickenham, scoring a try on his debut. On June 12th 2013, following an impressive performance against Argentina; Twelvetrees was called up to the British and Irish Lions Tour of Australia due to concerns about possible injuries sustained by the fly halves and centres prior to the tests.
Get peddling Nick........
Partner Nick Bishop is taking part in a charity bike ride on Saturday 18th May; raising funds for our charity of the year Emmaus Gloucestershire.

Men’s health is a cause Nick Bishop here at PGT is passionate about, but in order to make a difference he needs your help. His commitment (as part of the team ‘The Five Rotary Clubs of Gloucester’) is to grow a moustache for the month of November and in doing so, raise vital awareness and funds for mens health including prostate and testicular cancer.
Please support Nick and this great cause by making a donation. The size of which isn’t important, every little contribution helps Movember to continue its funding of world class programmes. To highlight the importance of what Nick is doing, take a look at these statistics:
• 1 in 9 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime • This year 40,000 new cases of the disease will be diagnosed in the UK
• 47% of testicular cancer cases occur in men under 35 years and over 90% occur in men under 55 years
If you’d like to help change these statistics, please donate to Nick by:
• Donating online at: mobro.co/njbishop
You will also get to see his progress and how silly he looks! Many thanks.
Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo.......

The rest of us here didn't look too bad either.
All donations and monies raised from cake sales and games amounted to an impressive £92.05!!
As sponsors of Gloucester Rugby Club we get the opportunity once a year to have our photo taken with the team of that season.
This year Matt Newman, Rachel Keenan, Nick Bishop, Lisa Oliveri, Neil Williams and Jo-Anne Chard went along to say cheese!
A few of our PGT ladies and female clients recently enjoyed a 'Women in Business' lunch at Gloucester Rugby Club; in which the tables were turned on The Lunch's usual presenter Jill Douglas.
Suzanne Hall-Gibbins, Gloucestershire Chamber of Commerce Chief Executive, took the mic and interviewed Jill about her recent experiences at the Olympics and her career to date. And what a career it has been!
Maggie's Cancer Care were opted as the charity for the lunch, and the event went on to raise £315 for Maggie's. As Maggies were our firm's charity of the year in 2011, we were very pleased to be part of further support for them.

The first local derby of the season saw Gloucester travel up the M5 to Sixways Stadium, the home of Worcester Warriors. Meanwhile post match, Phil and Nick caught up with the firms sponsored player for the season, Billy Twelvetrees.

Gloucester came to a standstill when the Olympic torch passed through on the latest leg of its journey on Thursday 24th May. A very proud moment! Despite the early start, thousands of people lined the streets to cheer on the torchbearers in their moments of glory. The torch relay lasts 70 days and will see 8,000 torchbearers running 8,000 miles around the UK, reaching it’s climax on July 27th at the opening ceremony, to mark the start of the 2012 Olympic games.
LISA GOT TO HOLD IT!
It was an exciting time for both Lisa and Rachel from our tax department as they managed to get their hands on one of the Olympic torches. The torchbearer had just been dropped off ready for the change over when he was pounced upon by Lisa, desperate to get her hands on his torch, “Quote”
